Entrochef is an online marketplace for on demand home cooked meals.
The model was similar to Uber and Airbnb but in the food space. Based on the user's location, home cooked meals in the vicinity could be viewed and ordered.

This project lays the foundation for a bigger project that aims at "Capturing People Emotions in Realtime while they are watching online videos".

A convolutional neural network is trained to ouput a certain confience across a set of emotions for a given input image.

The emotions recognized are {happiness, neutral, sadness, anger, surprise, fear, contempt, disgust}

In order to reduce wastage of electricity at the student activity centre, built a wireless network of sensors and actuators to monitor and control all the appliances over a web application. The sensor data retrieved in real time was fed into a learning algorithm to understand the usage pattern and control the devices autonomously. The energy consumption decreased by 12%.

An MHRD Project under National Mission on Education using ICT. IIT Bombay organised the E-Yantra Robotics Competition. I along with two team mates built and programmed a Room Cleaner Robot that could navigate in a given arena avoiding obstacles and cleaning the dust particles.

An application to maintain battery charge of laptops in an optimal range between 30% and 90%

Users (Linux OS) had to install a shell application.

The shell script constantly monitored the laptop's battery percentage.

On the event when the charge went below 30% or above 90%, the script signalled a smart switch to turn 'on' or turn 'off' respectively.

The smart switch was a relay module controlled using an Arduino Mega and Arduino Wifi Module.

Lead a team of 5 members to organize a workshop called ROBOMETRY.

Participants were thought how to burn code into a Robot (Arduino), using which they had to test their algorithm that addressed the following problem.

Run a line follower robot on a random piece of curve printed on a flex sheet.

Use the aberrations in the sensor data array to predict which shape/function the curve best represented, and comment on it's meta features such as the eccentricity and radius of curvature to support their prediction.

Built prototype of an elevator - A reference model that the participants used to plan and engineer the same.

Prepared a detailed budget plan and bought inventory(retail) from a dealer for wholesale prices.

As a Manager of Guest Lectures Event, organized 3 guest lectures in the fields of Pulp and Paper Technology, Business Management and Scientific Equipments.

Worked closely with professors of various departments to establish contacts with and invite Researchers, Professors, CEOs to deliver a talk.

Cognizance is the Annual Technical Festival of IIT Roorkee.

Junkyard Wars is one of the most loved events by all the students and professors!

Contestants are required to build something "innovative and working" using all kind of scrap available in the junkyard.

My senior(Sahil Kumar) and I constructively resonated to make the event a grand success.

During the event participants were asked to build an aeroplane without using motors, batteries etc... but with just a single plastic propeller given to them and junk available in campus.
